This Census shows that Frances lived as a servant in the household of John Crawl age 56.
The household consisted of a John Crawl with eight young people. Four of these young people were probably his children: Amanda age 22, Amos age 20, Joshua age 18, Harriet age 10.
The others were: Joseph Warner age 21, John Bowman age 20 a hired laborer from Ireland, Martin Edgart 18 a hired laborer from Germany and Frances Gundy. Her age is listed as 18 but she would have been 19 years old just two days shy of being 20.

Frances married Henry Wells Edson, son of Alfred Edson and Lydia Stewart, on 13 Dec 1868 in Loyd, Richland County, Wisconsin. (Henry Wells Edson was born on 7 Nov 1809 in Stockbridge, Madison, New York and died on 6 Feb 1882 in Loyd, Richland County, Wisconsin.)
