"Karl Kosia worked for the German Railway. He was stationed in Posen until 1920. (In 1920 Posen was returned to Poland -Treaty of Versailles). In 1920 he and his family moved to Berlin - Marienfelde for his option for Germany. At the age of 1 Werner Karl Kosia moved from Posen, Poland, with his parents and brother Kurt to 79 Kirchstrasse, Berlin, Marienfelde. "
